I know many Christians who are not happy or do not feel free, Jesus is not a full encompassing answer.
It is a great start of awakening though.

well said…
Abraham Lincoln said, “no one can help the poor by being one of them”.
Being poor is a cop out.

i pity you guys.. these guys aren’t saying that you should focus your life on money alone. the point here is that whatever it is you need in your life.. money is one way or another involve in it. they say that money is the root of all evil.. i say, the lack of money is the root of all evil. How can you do the things you want to do if you don’t have the money for it? it’s common sense.

true..
You dont become happy by having money… you become happy (and peaceful) once you find freedom in our Saviour

Additionally, we are in the era of consumptionism. People tend to desire things they do not really need or going to use very often. This is an effect of media and marketing brainwashing, telling you that the more you own, the better you become. We live in a — very — sick world, And I mean, very. There is an obsession about owning useless and latest techno-toys, being as slim as a pinhead and everything being associated with ‘sex’. But, hopefully it will not remain too long in this shape.

Thus, if you have enough funds, you can live doing essentially nothing and have everything done for you. Excuse me, but I’m not that type of person. You can not do everything by yourself, yes that’s true, but please, let’s not act like mindless puppets, who can’t do anything – it hinders our own evolution and promotes ignorance.

If you are doing something merely for money, you will not last too long on your path. Money needs to be a side product, not a primary goal – that’s the only way it really works. Just take a look at music industry, nowadays. Most of those people do it simply for more dough and effects of that are what we hear. To me, having big amounts of funds is lazines, because I think of funds as of leverage – the more you have of it, the more you can buy or order something to be done for you.

Average person may well live 75 years, but do not forget how much stress and nerves it takes to get the amount of funds you probably think of. Stress has a negative impact on longevity and this world is already too stressed, uptight and obsessed about money. Please speak for yourself, but I don’t need million dollar jets or golden Porsches, just to show off and show people how hollow and ill my soul really is. To me, doing what you like is the most important, not for money.

lol…people that say this are usually people that don’t have the things they desire, money is not everything but it is mega important. If you made a list of all the things you wanted to do and the places you wanted to go and etc. It all comes down to one thing, money. Average person lives 75 years, 20 years to focus on your success and 55 years yo live, life is long enough.

I do not think life is about getting rich, but having an economical goal in your life so that you can become independent at a certain age (40 in my case) is important as it can be the fundament of a happier, more relaxed life that will allow you to have time for yourself, your family, and if you are into helping others, spend time and money doing just that. I don’t really believe in being rich at the age of 80 unless you still have the energy to change the world in a good way at that age.

A PMA never makes money. Money makes PMA. You want a Positive Mental Attitude? figure out a way to get a wad of $100 bills in your pocket. Then you will have a Positive Mental Attitude. Attitude books make money for the writer. You write your own book, self publish and sell 1,000 at $25 each. Then you will have THE Attitude.

We all have the desire to be rich and free, to not have to worry about not paying the bills and ending up on the street in the cold with no food. Life is too short to waste it in a factory so we must get rich.
