If you’re not using blogs to generate leads for your MLM, you are missing the boat! But, why has blogging become so popular?

One reason for the growing popularity is probably because blogs are more easily accessible and easier to use than a website. In today’s world, blogging is more stylish than a traditional website. Blogs are easy to edit and tweak, and they are designed to give the administrator full control over the functions and content.

Another reason is that you can easily have one made for you (often times for free). All you need is a domain name and a site to host it, which is very inexpensive. So for less than $10 a month, you could be up and running. The benefit to having your blog hosted on your own instead of on a server, is that you will own your content, and it will be more professional.

So what can blogging do for you? Well just think of it as your “home base”. It’s a place where you can tell your story, and showcase your work through interesting stories and pictures. It helps you build credibility and value, and “brand” yourself as an expert in your field. And, it keeps working for you 24/7.

You can also build your email list in a hurry by adding web forms to capture leads and subscribers.. If you offer bits of free training and information for the readers, and you keep your topics interesting and informative, your readers will subscribe and return to your blog over and over again.

So where do we start? What do we write about? Well, if your goal is to get traffic to your MLM blog, write about MLM and related subjects. You could research and write stories on your findings. You could do product reviews, or even reviews of leaders in the industry. You could put together “Top 10 Reasons Why….” lists, or even “Top 10 Reasons Why Not…” lists. Or perhaps some free info and training when they subscribe to your newsletter.

What ever you decide to write about, just make it informative, and easy to read. Offer short, digestible content and you will be successful at getting traffic to your site.
