Helping You Build A Huge Network Marketing Business

Are you working a regular J.O.B and attempting have a top home business? Are you so overwhelmed with things to do that you’re simultaneously doing ten things and none of them too well? And how about everything that is NOT getting done? Do you think you’d be more effective if your task were completed almost magically without you’re having to really think about them? That’d be cool, huh?

We all know the willpower it takes to finish the huge amount of tasks we are faced with day to day. It’s only made more difficult with the amount of available distractions everywhere. The television. iPhone, video games, babies, the comfy chair and so forth are always around to take you off task. There were days where I felt I deserved the “hardest workin’ dude in the world” award only to look around at day’s-end and ask myself, “Er… so what did I accomplish?” Don’t pretend you haven’t been there. Even though I seemed to be an incredibly talented master of multiple tasks, it turned out I was the master of NOT getting multiple tasks done. That’s when I discovered the power of full engagement.

Check out the excellent book The Power of Full Engagement when you get the chance. One very important point I picked up is that we not only have a finite amount of willpower to use, but that it is in fact a very small amount. They actually took a couple of groups of people and at them watch an emotional picture. While the film was running, one group was required to repress all display of emotion. Once the movie finished, each group was given a difficult test that would require intense concentration. Repressing emotion requires willpower. As a result, the group with no willpower left in reserve performed terribly on the exam.

What does this mean to you, your life and your home business? It means you should create a series of rituals and do those throughout the day as opposed to reactively running around like a newly headless chicken. Let’s face it… we actually HATE to do most of the things we need to. Depending on willpower alone is a recipe for failure. Save your willpower and build rituals.

What the heck’s a ritual? We aren’t talking about magic or dancing in the moonlight; maybe some meditation and some human sacrifice without any knives or volcanoes. Get it? OK… anyway. Take a series of actions and do them the same way each time and you’ve created a ritual. These “actions” are really just some good habits you’ve created for yourself. Remember, ninety-five percent of the stuff we do everyday is done automatically; no thought needed. How much concentration does it take to take a shower and dry off? Do you think “take right hand turn hot knob… wait… now turn cold knob… now warm… now step in…” Of course not, your shower ritual is a habitual. All you have to do is create rituals chock full of good habits for other parts of the day. Maybe your trying to improve your health and energy level. If so, you might want to try a morning ritual like the one I swiped from Eben Pagan.

My morning ritual takes about two hours and is as follows; I get up, drink some water, brush my teeth, exercise (currently I’m doing P90X but it could easily be the gym or running), meditate, visualize and go over my goals, schedule out my day, eat breakfast and finally take a shower and get dressed. Now because my exercise is buried within the morning ritual, its as indispensable as brushing my teeth. Its a habit. Now obviously, it will take you two to four weeks of performing a ritual for it to be natural, but once it is… you’ve saved your willpower for something else. I don’t believe that 21 day thing is an exact science; It may actually take a few months for you but that’s OK. You’ll know you’ve created a solid habit when it becomes more difficult NOT to do it than it is to do it.

So let’s talk about rituals you can create to boost your home business. Maybe you’re a video marketer and it normally takes you a couple of hours to shoot, edit and post a video. Maybe if you’re focused and not watching Jersey Shore or True Blood at the same time, you can bring the time down to 1 hour. So what you do is come up with a series of steps, an exact time to begin and DO NOT ALLOW ANY DISTRACTIONS. If you’re time to begin is at 5 pm, do it EVERYDAY at 5pm with the same steps. Make it a habit. Soon the random stuff that comes up each day will find itself automatically moved to accommodate your new habits. And once your good habit filled rituals start to take over your day, you’ll be amazed at what you will accomplish.

Creating more than one or two rituals at a time may be too much because you’ll need some willpower to get them started so instead build slowly. Full Engagement with your highest value activities will do wonders for your home business.

Do you have a set of written goals? Today is the day to write them down and clarify them.

Try to recall an experience where you really made great things happen in your past. Were you doubtful or did your hunches tell you it WAS going to happen for you?

It was the second wasn’t it? Successful people know their plans will work and that they will be successful. You must Know it is going to happen and that you will succeed. Knowing with a capital K; that solid feeling in the pit of your stomach that you will make happen and you cannot fail. Expect it to happen and know there is no other way. It will happen. This Knowing gives you drive and commitment to see you through to the success of your goal.

One of the greatest ways to develop this strong feeling is by using visualization.

You probably already use this powerful technique in your life. Many of us run through things in our heads before actually doing them.

Visualization is a very effective technique. It works for many areas of life, but it takes practice for it to be effective.

Visualization works like this.

1) Select the goal that you wish to work with

Second, imagine it in your head.

Next, use visualization to put yourself in the experience of having already achieved it. Use all 5 senses. Make it seem as reall as possible.

4) Hold this image in your mind for a minimum of 10 minutes – remain focus and positive. Challenge any doubts that rise and replace them with positive words and images of success. If you get distracted or your mind wanders, bring your focus back to your goal.

Remind yourself of this vision several times during the day. The more we think about things, the better chance we have of creating those realities in our lives. This exercise programs the brain to drive us towards our goals.

All goals are different, but some of them should be kept private. Friends and family, while they mean well, tend to say things that cause us to lose our belief and confidence in achieving our goals. This gets in the way lots of time.

It is hard enough to overcome our own doubts and worries without having to also overcome those of the people around you. Keep any goals where you may be influenced by others to yourself and let the people around you see the successful end result.

Insisting On Success

Insist on success. One powerful method to take us to our goals faster, is to tell our mind that we will get there over and over. Positive affirmations, repeated, really work. They send a message to that quiet part of our brain that directs us.

Simply write down a few sentences using colorful, positive words and include clear goals and your timeframes for achieving them. Be exact. Don’t just say you want to get in shape. Include your dress size, body fat content, targeted weight etc…

By writing down clear sentences with time limits, you are instruction your subconscious as to exactly what you want and when you want it by. It will act on this kind of clarity.

Next we must write down the plan or action steps we will take to accomplish the goal we wrote down and instructed our mind on. Then we should divide those action steps into daily actions.

Tiny Steps

It is okay to have big dreams like wanting to be a millionaire by the age of 40.

This goal is to large for our brain to get around. It may even decrease our belief and motivation level a bit. You doubt it, so you must reduce it into tiny action steps that you can really see yourself taking.

Any large goal can be broken down into a number of sub-goals, which can then be broken down even further if necessary. Each of the sub-goals has an associated action plan with it. Using our income goal from above, sub-goals could be to understand taxation, to understand investment, to start your own company, and so on.

Our mind can grasp the small steps and believe in our ability to get there. These small wins go a long way towards building our belief level.

Review your big and small goals each and every day. That way your subconscious mind remains focused on them and remember: We Get What We Think About The Most. It is also important to review these goals often and make little adjustments, so you are not repeating mistakes over and over.

Achieving our goals is something we all want to do, but it involves work. Rarely will they be given to us on a silver platter by a servant on bended knee. Achievement requires Knowing, drive and commitment, combined with careful and meticulous planning and a firm belief in ourselves. With unwavering belief and commitment there is nothing that you cannot achieve. Everything and anything is within your grasp – if you are willing to make the commitment to achieving it.

Most individuals dream about better lives, spiritually, physically or financially. There are some people who realize their dreams and others who do not. There is a difference between the two groups of achievers and those who spend their lives daydreaming. It is the ability to recognize how dreams and goals work together in order to realize dreams and change realities.

Dreaming emptily into space without any practical plan of action, you will continue thinking about your dream as opposed to living it. Setting real goals in various stages will help you work toward realizing your dream. Your first step is to really think about what it is you want.

Unplug yourself from the noises of the everyday hustle and evaluate where you are in life. Once you have established where you are, visualize where you want to be. Sometimes people say they want this thing or that but do not really take the time to seriously analyze what it is they truly want out of life. Consider how this dream will enrich your life personally or financially. Think of the positives that come along with living your dream.

After you have clearly thought about what it is that you want, you now have to think about the steps that will get you to your goal. For instance, if you want to lose fifteen pounds, how are you going to do this? First, you may want to set short term goals. These goals will include going to the gym and changing your diet. You may want to plan your week around these new goals.

There are steps involved in losing this weight. Small goals involve changing eating habits. Another goal may be to go to the gym for the week. Once you have a successful week, renew your goals and continue moving forward to your larger dream of being 50 pounds less.

A plan of action is critical in realizing your dreams. If you are moving throughout life without a plan, you risk trapping your dreams as part of your imagination forever. On the other hand, when you have a clear target and set goals to achieve it you will most likely be moving toward the realization of your dreams. Visualization and practical action are a must.

Keep in mind when setting your goals create them in increments in order to set yourself up for success. When you plan small goals that are easier to achieve you will find that you are more likely to stay motivated when you see progress. Do not set yourself up for failure by setting a long term goal, such as becoming wealthy, without the steps in between that go along with achieving this goal.

The smaller goals that go along with this big dream may include going back to school, or getting certification in your particular field. You may want to educate yourself on investment opportunities. These factors all come back to you and what makes you happy. Even though you may have to do some things that you may not like so much, keep in mind that your dreams and goals work hand in hand pushing you forward for success.

MLM Absolute asked:

MLM training consists of motivation, self motivation and motivation of your downline. This is a important form of MLM training. When a person is not motivated enough, he will be easily affected by rejections and he will give up easily when faced with an obstacle.

As a Network Marketer, you engage in sales and recruitment, if you are not motivated, you will be able to last in the industry long enough to taste the fruits of success. Furthermore motivate your downline to do sales.

Self-motivation may be difficult, when you do not know what is important to you.  But once you can find the thing that is very important to you, you will be able to motivate yourself.

Here are some points you can use to motivate yourself when you start feeling dejected, overworked, or down.

Tip 1: Do What Matters Most

Most of the new marketers tend to postpone doing things they dislike. But those things may be very crucial and important in your progress. Therefore you should set and prioritise your goals, and ask yourself what matters to you the most. And when you really see the things that matter to you most, you will have to put them in your to-do list as priority

Tip 2: Make them a Habit

This should be part of your MLM training progress, learning to develop good habits.

Even for things you don’t like, continue doing it, after awhile they becomes a habit and a routine. Just like doing cold calls, many people **** doing cold calls, but if you keep doing it continuously for 1 month, it will too become a habit.

But in order to continuously something you don’t really like or even thing that you don’t mind doing requires some pushing factor. If you manage to continue doing it for 1 month, you will discover that it has become part of your daily routine.

Tip 3: Reward Yourself

As you continue establishing your career in MLM networking, you will definitely face challenges and difficulties, make sure you reward yourself if you manage to overcome the difficulty. This keeps you motivated along your pursuit for your goal. You don’t have to reward yourself with expensive things, but the reward should be something that is only possible if you manage to overcome the challenge.

For example, If you manage to hit your goal of making 10 sale in a month, you can reward yourself by getting yourself the very nice pen you’ve been eying

Tip 4: Just Start Doing It

Another problem many people face is that they procrastinate. Procrastination is the number one reason why people don’t succeed. Just start doing what you need to do. Look at your to-do list, and get down to it every morning you get to the office or when you wake up. Never out it off to later. During your MLM training, your upline will help you and follow you closely to get you started in getting started.

Things you can do tomorrow you can do today, and things you can do today you can do now. Live by this quote, and you will see yourself achieving many of your goals within or much before your targeted date.

Tip 5: Break them down.

Goal setting is the fundamental of any sales oriented job. During your MLM training, your upline will get you to set goals. When you set goals, set them into shorter term goals like; what you want to achieve every month for one year, and within the month, what you want to achieve every week, followed by every day. This way, you can see a very clear plan to achieving your goal.

Another thing about making shorter term plans is that you can see yourself achieving them, thus feeling more sense of achievement and motivated. This feeling propel you forward.

Tip 6: Get Support

It is important that you get support when you are accomplishing this. They help to motivate you when you are feeling down and they serves as a form of accountability towards achieving the goal.

Nobody is strong enough to do this alone. You can use your upline as a form of support or you can find your spouse, friends or even parents as your support.

It is important that you know these points before you start your MLM network marketing career so you don’t make so much mistakes. That is why MLM training is very important.
