The key to getting good people is to understand what they are interested in. The prospect you are talking to is really not interested in your product. Also, they really don’t care how successful you are with the plan. The person is interested in only one thing.
The potential new member you are pitching only wants to know what the business can do for them. People are almost always self-centered and they will only show interest in a situation that can affect them. Most of these people will have absolutely no desire to learn anything at all about your opportunity unless you can make it relevant to them.
The job you now have is as a transformer. In order to get the lead to sign and become a member of your down line you must show them how the business can transform their life. The people who are looking for a money making opportunity are the ones who are unhappy with their lives. Focus on how they can get what they want with your opportunity and they will join your team.
You dont need to sell the program, this is where most people get off track, you need to sell the dream. No one is ever interested in the mechanics of how the organization is set up or what the structure is. They are only interested in what is in it for them.
When you show someone how the business can impact their lives then they will show interest in what you have to say. If you aren’t able to ignite the dream they have then you might as well walk away right now. If that lead doesn’t feel the possibilities your opportunity offers there is not hope in signing them.
Your job during the talk is to be a change agent. It is imperative that you show the prospect how your business can change their life. Most people are not happy with their financial situation in life. The want to make a change for the better. These people are only waiting for the right offer to come along and they will jump if you can make a connection between their dreams and your opportunity.
It is all about how your business plan can transform their life. Everybody has dreams. Your job is to harness the dreams and desires of your prospect to the possibilities of the business and show them the road to the life they want.
