You have heard of people earning very nice livings with MLM network marketing, and the thought has crossed your mind on more than one occasion, that maybe it would work for you. This article will explore what being an MLM networker entails, so that you will have a better idea if it is something you would like to do.
Let us begin with the very basics: What’s the difference between MLM and network marketing? Actually, there is no difference. They are different terms for the same thing. Both terms speak to the concept of marketing as a group effort. MLM stands for multi level marketing. Network marketing implies the team, or network, that you will build.
The people you directly enroll to work with you are your first level. Whoever they enroll become your second level. Anybody your second level members enroll are on your third level, and so on. Different MLM companies have different points where your organization ends, for instance, level five or level ten.
The thing that is so powerful about MLM network marketing is the ability it gives you to leverage the actions of others. Leverage is a wealth building concept. You can build a team of hundreds or potentially, even thousands of people, most of whom you will never meet, and make money from every purchase or sale they make.
The first thing to do is find a company that has products you adore, and that you would purchase, regardless if you were selling them, or not. This means the price has to be in the ball park of the competition, or better. Others can usually tell if you like something or if you are only pushing it to make a buck. That can have a huge effect on your ability to enroll others
Something that turned a lot of people sour on MLM are those companies where there is a lot of pressure for members to buy a lot of products to sell to friends and coworkers. Some people are great at that, but most people just have a bunch of product in their garage and they quit after losing money. The solution is to join a company that does not require you to stock up on a lot of products. Everyone just has to purchase a minimum amount that is enough for their monthly consumption; and of course, they need to refer others to their team.
Everyone has the option to sell retail, but they can make money by simply using the products and enrolling others who do the same. The question is where you will attain your MLM leads. The old way is to focus on your family and friends, and also, the people whose paths cross yours as you go about your daily activities. The new way to get MLM network marketing leads is using internet marketing to get all your leads. You could do some of both.
